Blycel
(Glyphosate 41% SL)
Blycel is a systemic, non-selective herbicide belonging to the Organophosphorus group (Glycine and Phosphonates). It works by inhibiting EPSP synthase in weeds, effectively targeting both annual and perennial varieties. After application, the herbicide is absorbed and translocated within the plant, reaching the roots and eliminating weeds entirely. It is suitable for controlling weeds in plantation crops, water channels, bunds, and open fields.
MODE OF ACTION:
Glyphosate disrupts plant growth by inhibiting the enzyme enolpyruvylshikimate. This action prevents essential protein synthesis in weeds, ensuring comprehensive control of a wide spectrum of vegetation.
Crop/Area | Target Weeds | Recommended Dosage (Per Acre) | Additional Notes/Usage Guidelines |
Tea | All types of narrow and broadleaf weeds | 0.8 to 1.2 L | Apply when weeds are actively growing. Use sufficient water for uniform coverage. |
Open Fields | Mixed weeds (broadleaf, grasses, sedges) | 0.8 to 1.2 L | Ensure complete coverage for effective results. Avoid spraying on crops or desirable plants. |
Plantation Areas | Stubborn weeds like Cyperus and Cynodon | 0.8 to 1.2 L | Targets even hardy weeds. Avoid application during heavy rainfall. |
Water Channels/Bunds | Green vegetation and weeds | 0.8 to 1.2 L | Use during dry conditions for maximum absorption by weeds. |
