Bantox is a premium copper-based fungicide containing Copper Oxychloride 50% WP. This broad-spectrum fungicide effectively controls both fungal and bacterial diseases through contact action. Its fine particle formulation ensures excellent adhesion to leaves, restricting fungal growth and providing extended disease control. Bantox is especially effective against fungi resistant to other fungicides.
How It Works:
Bantox acts as a protective contact fungicide with a dual mechanism:
- Protein Inhibition: Copper reacts with amino acids and carboxyl groups in proteins, disrupting enzymatic activity.
- Spore Suppression: Copper binds with sulphahydral groups in enzymes, inhibiting spore germination and preventing fungal spread.
