- Primary Responsibilities :
- Banana Operations Management:
Supervise export and domestic operations, encompassing contract farming, procurement, technical support, and planning.
- Farmer Engagement & Support:
Foster robust relationships with farmers by offering technical assistance and ensuring optimal crop care from
cultivation to packhouse. - Quality Control & Fruit Care:
Maintain high standards of fruit quality, hygiene, and assurance during harvesting, storage, and packaging.
- Farm and Workforce Oversight:
Manage farm equipment, workforce operations, and crop planning to enhance operational efficiency.
- Packhouse Operations:
Oversee the harvesting, packaging, and quality assurance processes, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.
- Banana Operations Management:
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Fresher or 1 to 4 years in farm management, agribusiness, or fruit operations (experience in banana farming is
preferred).
- Skills :
- Proficient in contract farming, crop management, and quality assurance practices.
